Brief Job Description:

Free-range livestock operation.  Local, sustainable, ecological, humane, natural farm that direct markets production through all the main DC area farmer's markets. 

We are looking for someone with a bit of animal, livestock or other farm related experience and interests for a full-time position working with a team of 4-5 others in a rotational grazing livestock production operation.  Main duties involve animal handling, care, feeding, monitoring; project work; market support work.

Benefits:

Paid vacation is earned at the rate of 1 week for every 6 months of full-time service. 

Health insurance is presently being worked out for a company policy.  At present there is no company policy, but there is an option to work out a personal policy with Blue Cross-Blue Shield with the company contributing toward the monthly costs depending upon rates and circumstances.
